Gina Marie Designs - Brand New Die Release - Drop Pennant Banners!

Ok, let me just start by saying..I am head over heels about these new Drop Pennant Dies by Gina Marie Designs.  Gina has been working hard, coming up with some of the most beautiful new dies for us to play around with, I couldn't be happier to add this set to my collection!

I paired the dies up, (pun intended ;), with this pear image by Flourishes, LLC., a set that I've had for ages!  I copic colored the pears, don't you love how juicy and ripe they look?!

This is a brand new release and I hope you'll run over to her shop and grab this!  Click Photo to Shop!

Thanks for visiting, happy shopping!

Gina Marie Designs - Candy Stripe Background Die - New Die Being Released Today!

Hey everyone, it's Saturday, yay!!  I'm serious, it's wonderful to have a day off where everyone is home, relaxing and enjoying time together.

Today I'm going to show you a BRAND new die in Gina's shop, it's actually being released today!  What do you think of this Candy Stripe Background Die?  I absolutely adore it!

I'm planning to make a christmas card with it soon, which I think would be the traditional way to use a candy stripe.  However, as you can see, it makes a perfect, cheerful background for any occasion.

I'm going to link up the items I used to make this card below. I hope you'll leave me a comment and thanks for stopping by!

Gina Marie Designs Wolf Die + Mountains/Trees Landscape Dies

Hello everyone!  It's been a bit since I've blogged anything, I've been making lots of cards lately, but not blogging them!  So...time to fix that :)

I'm here today  with a little distress ink project to show you!  I was playing with this beautiful howling wolf die from the Gina Marie Designs collection and I couldn't resist getting the inks out.

For my night sky, I combined Ranger Distress ink colors: Broken China, Seedless Preserves, Faded Jeans and Black Soot.  I sprinkled with a little water mixed with blue shimmery liquid pearls and then cut some white acrylic paint with water and flicked it on my background with a water brush.

I then die cut the trees and mountains and hit them lightly with some picket fence distress ink and added a few blue embellishments.  The sentiment is from a Lawn Fawn set "Flutter By".
